  1. August 9th– National Mobilization against Police Brutality and the FOP. Looking for youth speakers who have experienced police brutality or racial profiling to speak at one of 2 rallies. There is a march. Everyone is invited to attend and participate. They are looking for groups to sign on in support. The Fraternal Order of Police (Police union) has their national convention her in Pittsburgh and it corresponds with the shooting death anniversary of Mike Brown in Ferguson.   1. August 14th – Hill District Consensus Group Youth Organizers cookout against police brutality at Kennard. There will be performances and opportunities for groups and clubs to table.

  1. October 9-11th– YUIR Weekend – YUIR is hosting a 2 and a half day anti-racist organizing training from October 9-11 (Friday eve, all day Saturday and Sunday). This training is free for all youth ages 14-24. Snacks and meals provided.  Tell your friends and family or other youth who are interested in becoming better anti-racist organizers for change.

  1. November 20th – Ellis Culture Jam – The Ellis School is hosting its Culture Jam on November 20th and needs young people to attend and FACILITATE WORKSHOPS around social justice issues.
