TRCF Holiday Shopping Night at Ten Thousand Villages

Doing Well and Doing Good

As you may know, Ten Thousand Villages in Squirrel Hill sells interesting and attractive Fair Trade goods from around the world.  Each year as the holidays are approaching, the store holds a shopping benefit night for the Three Rivers Community Foundation.  And, each year, this event grows larger.  A portion of all sales for the evening come to TRCF to support our work on behalf of grassroots organizations working for social justice and change in our region.

Shop Locally, Act Globally

Buying Fair Trade products supports micro-finance projects, women’s small businesses, and family economic ventures in developing nations.  Patronizing Ten Thousand Villages is a “three-fer” for shoppers – supporting worthy small businesses worldwide, furthering the mission and the work of our Foundation, and bringing home some beautiful and unique gifts.

We hope that you will join us on Tuesday, December 10 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for an evening of good shopping and fellowship at Ten Thousand Villages, 5824 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA, 15217.
